Our school is an exciting place to be where great learning and teaching happens. We are a proud member of the state education system of Queensland. We educate students of compulsory and pre-compulsory school age through highly modified, alternate programs that focus on individual need. We offer four programs on this campus:
- A Special School program for students aged 5-18 years who have intellectual disabilities. Many of our students have also been diagnosed with Autism and/or physical and sensory impairments.
- Xavier Conductive Education program for students who have intellectual disabilities and physical disabilities aged from 5 to 18 years
- Two Early Childhood Developmental Programs (ECDP) that provides targeted early intervention to children aged under 6 years. The Xavier ECDP caters specifically for children who have physical impairments.
Our school offers a unique opportunity for students to broaden their education and future prospects as fulfilled and effective citizens through engaging, relating and participating as members of their community.
